Superstition during the Middle Ages cited that Cumin kept chickens and lovers from wandering. It was also believed that a happy life awaited the bride and groom who carried Cumin Seed throughout the wedding ceremony.

Barton House "Girls" 2011
One of the Guild projects each year is to create and maintain the beautiful gardens at the Barton House at the Bloomsburg Fair Grounds. The 6 pictures below are of the Barton House "Girls" working and enjoying each other's company. Thanks to all who volunteer to make this spot a real showcase.
