Fishing Creek Herb Guild Bus Trip
June 25-26, 2025
Day 1
7:00 am Leave Home Depot, Buckhorn. 

Stop at Lamar truck stop/McDonald’s.
Penn State Arboretum – Guided tour of the Arboretum.
Discovery Gardens at Legion Memorial Park Hollidaysburg. We will explore the eight themed gardens on our own and have a box lunch there.
Then on to the Frick Pittsburgh Museum and Gardens, with a walk around the grounds, viewing their
beautiful gardens, permanent collection of The Frick Art Museum, and the Car and Carriage Museum.
We'll stay at the Comfort Suites, 1100 Banksville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA. Dinner on your own.

Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel
Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Garden tour. 

Phipps has 15 acres including a 14-room glasshouse and 23 distinct gardens. Experience industry leading, sustainable architecture and green practices.
Lunch on your own.
Carnegie Museum of Natural History tour. You will also have time to visit the Carnegie Museum of Art, in the same building. No tour at the Art Museum.
We'll shop at Chelse’s Greenhouses, Monroeville on our way home with a dinner stop at Cracker Barrel in Altoona - on your own.
9:30 pm arrival at Buckhorn

Price includes: Bus, Hotel, all admissions, 1 lunch, 1 breakfast, bus driver tip, bottled water, wine & cheese.

1 per room $313, 2 per rm $247 each, 3 per rm $225 each, 4 per rm $214 each
Deposit of $50. Payment in full due by May 31st.

Trip is open to Guild members through March 31st. Non-members may register in April.
