The New News
*********************************
Due to the Covid 19 outbreak, St. Luke Church is
cancelling all outside activities that use the church for gatherings from now through April 5. They will then reevaluate the situation and proceed from there.

Please check this website in April for information
about our first meeting.

*********************************

While we're waiting to begin our year...
enjoy the spring weather and please share your
garden photos with our group. Send them to Toni
at the address on the bottom of this page.

The Guild Planning Committee met in January to
coordinate programs for this year. We believe that
the 2020 schedule is packed with interesting and informative gardening fun.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Start thinking about herbal crafts or recipes that you
can demonstrate for the November meeting. Let
President John know what you have planned for the evening. Demos should be about ten minutes. Here
is your chance to share your talents with the group.
Our final meeting for 2019 was our annual Christmas
Party in December. Members shared holiday wishes,
covered dishes and desserts. Entertainment for the
evening was the Early Music Ensemble.
The beautiful centerpieces along with a selection of
gift baskets were raffled to the group at our Christmas party. Cecilia Kondrchek won the vintage chair
decorated with a beautiful floral arrangement. Thank
to our president for his donations and horticultural
talents!
Have you signed up for a 2020 committee yet? We
need help with hostessing, the May plant sale, Barton
House Garden, library book donations, Town Park
Garden and other committees. E-mail Janet Dalberto
with your preferences. We need your help to make
2020 run smoothly.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Our Guild needs replacement books and magazines for
both children and adults to put in our garden library
box at the Bloomsburg Town Park. It is being used. Give them to Tammy D at the next meeting.
Herb Guild cookbooks are available at Auker's Apiary
booth at the Lewisburg Farmer's Market and at Cerridwen's Gardens in Bloomsburg
